Where to eat?
While there are many places to choose to eat in the Shenandoah Valley, these few represent our favorites in the area. See the "Where to Eat?" guide at the bottom to see MANY more options!
By far, our favorite place to eat is the Woodstock Cafe. Nikki & Jose put so much love and effort into their menu (always changing it up), have excellent service, and their taste reflects their efforts. While they are open every day for breakfast and lunch, you MUST have reservations to eat dinner Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. YOU HAVE TO GO. It is AMAZING!
This restaurant in the middle of nowhere is quite the surprise. It has some of the best seafood I have tasted! This family run business has been going strong for 72 years already and it is truly delicious! Reservations are not necessary.
Another Woodstock favorite is the Woodstock Garden Cafe. This cafe is housed in a nursery and, all around you, you will find lush plants and flowers. The food is incredible and my family thinks their salads are the best in the Valley. Run by two sisters, you have to try this wonderful place for lunch!
Our new favorite is a little bit of a drive, but SO worth it. This amazing restaurant has earned a ton of accolades such as OpenTable’s 2021 Diners’ Choice for “Best Ambience,” “Best Service,” “Best Scenic View,” “Best American Cuisine,” “Best Value,” and “Best Overall Restaurant” in the Shenandoah Valley. Best of all, they try to source all of the food from the surround 117 miles. Then there is the view, simply gorgeous!
